Ron Davis presents the following talks and workshops:

The joy of reading - why we read and what reading can do for us, particularly the reading of literary fiction. Includes excerpts from some of the best recent novels. Aimed at interested readers and members of book clubs.
Time - one hour minimum.
Cost - $100, regardless of the number of participants.

How to get the most out of your reading and stimulate discussion - aimed at members of book clubs and interested individuals.
Time - one hour minimum.
Cost - $100, regardless of the number of participants.

How to set up a book club or discussion group - a how-to guide for those wishing to establish a successful book club.
Time - one hour minimum.
Cost - $100, regardless of the number of participants.

Maximising your reading pleasure - a workshop particularly for existing or aspiring book club members. Includes group discussion of a novel; the provision of hire copies of the novel for two weeks; discussion notes; and light refreshments.
Time - three hours minimum.
Cost - $25 per participant.

For talks and workshops outside the Perth metropolitan area, additional charges may be required to cover travel and/or accommodation costs.

Ron Davis operates his BookTalk book hire business throughout Western Australia and some other areas of Australia. He has conducted many workshops through the UWA Extension Service, as well as for individual groups in Perth and regional centres. Ron has a long association with books, reading, and lifelong learning in the public sector as well as in private enterprise.
